i am new to this cart thing and just want to know if there is any way to make a electric cart go faster without spending alot to do it. anything easy?

If the cart in question is a PDS cart, a $10 part will take it to 18-19mph. All other carts cost $$$.

Your cart has 4 options:
High RPM motor
Larger diameter tires
Overvolt the motor
High speed gears

i have already done the larger tires, but what does it take to do a higher rpm motor or overvolt motor?

Either option is gonna require a new controller, so they both start with a $400 hit. Add $500 for a high speed motor, or $600 to go to 48v including a new charger. Used chargers can be found, and your 36v charger can be sold for cash too. If you are willing to use a 2 charger setup like I do you can get to 22mph for around $700.
