Default Flood damaged carts?

Saw this add for some Ike damaged carts:
http://houston.craigslist.org/spo/1052588376.html

So without me driving down there, would it be worth the money to spend $100 to $300 on a cart that has been flood damaged? I was thinking just for the plastic parts it could be worth it... Obviously the electronics are shot, but maybe a frame or some wheels could be salvagable... Anyone tried to rehab a flooded cart before?

This is where I got my cart. About 12 carts left. Mine was $150. Here are the only 2 pics I took of what's left. The cart in the picture is an old EZ with a lift kit and AM frontend. He was asking $300. I wish I had more pics. The drive was out there but, I wanted to see the island and had nothin better top do. He also has lots of parts...and used batteries $30. He will show you them with a load meter. Also, He would not sell me anything he did not thing was worth it. He seemed like a great guy. Just has a lot of carts he wants out of his way. Hope this helps!

PS. If anyone is going let me know. My dad was peeved when I told him. He wants a project too. He lives in Houston. and would like to go.
