2002 ezgo electric dead no click, nothing!
Hi, I have a 02 ez go electric golf cart given to me to look at from another golf course, 36 volt. The mechanic there gave up on it after replacing the solenoid and batteries. I installed a speed controller and still nothing, not even a click. the 2 wires that go to the ign switch have been jumped, still nothing. I have yamaha carts here so i don't have anything to compare it to. It would be nice to have a o2 ezgo comparison cart. I don't know what was disconected by the other golf course so? if anybody has any ideals on the problem or ant tip they would be much appeciated, Thanks..

Re: 2002 ezgo electric dead no click, nothing!
I am assuming you have a pds cart. Open this link and follow the "pds trouble shooting guide" flow chart (I think it starts on page F1) with a good quality tester. Its pretty much a no brainer if you have any experience with a voltage tester at all. If you have trouble with this link its on this forum under electric ezgo sticky (repair manual). I found out (personal experience) that there are so many variables to cause a cart not to function properly you could replace parts till the cows come home and still be carrying your bag. The guys on this site are great mechanics and have years of experience and still get stumped once in a while. Let me know how you come out.

Re: 2002 ezgo electric dead no click, nothing!
Sorry......its not your computer. Just go to the main forum page and at the top where you see the sticky's click on the bottom one that sez "basic Ezgo electric golf cart wiring and manuals". Then click on "Technician's service and repair manual electric carts". Its a pdf file. I will be on vacation for a week starting tomorrow so let someone know if you have trouble with the trouble shooting...they are all very helpful. Good luck. Please post your findings.
