Marathon Rear Seat?
What do most people do for the early 90s (pre '94) and ;ate 80s marathons for back seats? i have found a few kits online, but none under 400$ I have thought about finding a random golf cart back seat and fabbing something up..any ideas or past experiences?

Re: Marathon Rear Seat?
I think $400 is pretty much the going rate for a new flip flop seat kit. Some of the best ideas come from doing it yourself though.

Re: Marathon Rear Seat?
Do you or anybody else know someone who's made a rear seat? And I am not worried if the seat is flip flop or not.

Re: Marathon Rear Seat?
I've heard that the rear seat from a Jeep CJ5 or CJ7 is about the right width but I have not checked into this. If the width is correct and you like the look all you'd have to do is fabricate some mounts to attach the seat to the cart.

Re: Marathon Rear Seat?
Here is the one I did. I used a Club Car Seat.. 89 Marathon.
Used a piece of aluminum angle which I through bolted and atached the seat to the angle. I also up dated the front seat back rest as it was easier to mount toe the Club Car seat bracket.. Hope this help you.... |
