This is the one I use. I put a ring terminal on the end of it and screw it to the roof supports. Works great

Andy you should flip those speakers so the midrange and tweeters are on the outside. You will have better stereo separation. The woofer puts out low deep tones and radiates more and has less separation needed.

Thanks I may have to check one of those out. It may not work on a electric cart though.

This is nothing more than a long wire FM antenna (no grounding) and will work anywhere.......

This is what we used in the stone ages....Still works now!

95% of all boats with stereos in them use the wire antenna.

If its good enough for them its good enough for a cart. I use my cell phone like a MP3 and play Pandora or Sirius Satellite anyways.

Essness,
yes on a gas cart it should work great. Not so much on electric. No grounds on electric frames or top supports!

I guess some think it's ok though!
Oh and if you want to put a ring terminal on the boat antenna go for it. I wouldn't suggest screwing it into metal on the boat though.

It's not a ground Andy. It just turns the aluminum into part of the antenna. In my boat it's screwed to the windshield frame.

If you have a (-) ground it will not work.
