There's plenty of room for a stand-alone 12v system. Just look on the left side under the seat. As for your question, I use a 10+ year old car stereo with an auxilliary input and a plastic weather cover. You'll need the auxilliary input, or more preferably, an SD card reader. IMO, the CD function in a golf cart is about as useful as a bent e-wrecked-shin.

2 speakers, amp , and aux plug (for Ipod). This is the way to go.
If you have room for the extra 12volt thats a great way to go. Pulling 12 volts will also work just fine with newer batteries. Each options has it's cons but, for me the voltage reducer is the way to go. |
