2005 ezgo cart need help

wanting to make my 2005 series cart with a curtis pcm faster. any ideas?
would bigger tires help? more power?

Bigger tires will give more top end speed but, they rob you of torque/power. SO... you really need a bigger controller, heavier cables, beefed up F&R switch to do it right.

i have a curtis pcm 25864g09 with good cables. I want to get more torque for going up hills on the roads.. I live in a very hilly area..i have a back seat and stock size tires for now..

If your F&R is on the dash in a switch you have a PDS. If you have the switch under your leg then you have a Series. If you look at the controlor cover and you see a Run Tow switch and have the F&R under your leg your cart is older than 2005 and is a DCS. The series carts dont have a Run Tow switch on the contorlor cover only the PDS and the DCS. The PDS has its shifter as a switch on the dash.

What are good cables? Well at minimum a series cart should be running 4g cables all around if you are gonna do any hills and have a back seat and plan on a larger tire in the future. If you plan on doing a larger controller then get the 2g kit Scottyb sells.

You are also going to need a HD F&R switch and then look at getting a bigger Controller and maybe have Plum Quick beef up that motor.
