Well it would be nice to get running on the cheap. I don't have $600 to sink into it for batteries right now though.

Hoping that somehow maybe I'll get lucky working on these old batteries (yeah right)

I would really like to know if everything works before I for go shelling out the doug for the batteries.

i agreee with zilla. you have a txt with a bed. one heck of a deal. you can buy batteries at sams for about $75. put those in and new cables. then if it works after a good cleaning you can flip it for a good penny. do a seach and see how easy it is to build your own cables, especially since you work in the electric field. also look around on craigs list. they are almost giving away stock tires if you need some.

I work for a electrical contractor, the boys in the field can get quite creative.

one very good reason is they are dangerous, exposed like that. you have up to 36v running around loose.

It's not the volts that hurt, its the amps...

A 10AH battery will deliver 10A for 1 Hour, or 20A for half an hour, or 36,000A for a second....

dudette take some time and learn about an electric cart.........the last thing you want is exposed cable with juice flowing thur it......if you have a necklace on and you bend over those and the necklace touches your in for a free perm in a few seconds.........if any sort of metel touches them you don,t want to be anywhere around it................................
