Question Re: Should I sell it or fix it?

I'm telling you just from what I've bought over the years. Brand new bed is $224.00

Good luck parting it out. Time spent on E-bay time spent taking it off, time shipping it just ant worth it man.
Cheap yes I am when it comes to buying a non running cart, that I don't know will even run if I put new batteries in it. Can you get more than that maybe, but to someone who knows carts I would doubt it.

Whoopie! dealer cost... Do you sell them for $125? Proabably not...

I had it out in the yard working on it yesterday and a guy who already has a cart drove up and offered me $200 for the bed alone. I told him I wasn't interested but he left me a phone number in case I changed my mind.

Should I call him and give him your e-mail and tell him you can have a new one shipped to FL for less than that?

Maybe I shoulda...

Either way, dealer price is usually half or less of what most folks pay for it. At least that's the way it works in the car & motorcycle businesses.

Thumbs up Re: Should I sell it or fix it?

Yes about that depending on the product and how many you order!

I was going buy most people aren't dealers so they pay retail. I'm a dealer also.
That's why I was getting into the cart pricing is for me to buy it and turn a profit.

See so I wasn't too far off with saying the bed was worth $200...

Not bad estimating for a noob...

Not planning to part it out, at least not yet. That might be the avenue of last resort. I've done it with a few old dirt bikes that died and it was a pain listing all the items and shipping them.

Went down to the local dealer anf picked up a couple of keys (free), a fuse for the charger, a couple of battery tie down rods, and they threw in a Owner's manual & service guide on CD Rom for free. So I'll keep dinking with it a little further.

Gotta find a way to make sure it's working before I go plunk the serious $$$ into new batteries. Maybe I'll pop 3 12V boat trolling motor batteries in it just to see if it rolls on it's own...

E-mail me with your phone number or e-mail address and we'll discuss it...

I'm honestly torn between selling it "as-is" and putting some batteries in it and farting around with it...

The wife and daughter were sitting in it when I got home from work asking me "How soon before we can go for a ride?". I either need to get her running or get it out of the garage before they get too attached to it.
