Default 91 ezgo marathon issue 37v to solenoid, not sure on POTS or controller

Hello all, just put heavy duty shocks and new springs all the way around. new battery boxes and just put the battery's back in. followed the wiring diagram, from the posts on here as well as verifying the pictures I took before removing them. My issue is I can hear the solenoid click when I turn on the key and when I switch to reverse. Yes the beeper sound louder than ever. My issue is the cart wont move. I have 37v on the small pins on the solenoid but nothing when I push the pedal either f/r. Any help would be appreciated.

I thought the same thing, but I can't find any wiring that is different than before. I'm reading 37v at the solenoid and off the pack. Is there a safety disconnect that I might of knocked loose when working on the suspension? I'm at a loss.

The solenoid clicks when you turn on the key = that is on, then again when I put it in gear, that is off.

This is probably where your problem lies. Verify that the solenoid is closed (on) when it clicks with the key and off (open) when you put it in gear.

That would make the cart not go. The solenoid should not close with the key, that would leave the solenoid engaged all the time and result in a shortened useful life of the solenoid. It is supposed to click when you press the gas from the micro switching at the potentiometer.

Hope this helps, Scottyb

Thanks Scotty, it seems that I do not hear any clicking when I engage the pedal so it seems to be pointing at the solenoid?

Sounds mis-wired to me? Solenoid clicks with key is wrong.

Solenoid should be activated by the throttle peddle micro on the Pot

Thanks for the info, I've isolated the issue down to the linkage that connects to the POTS and engages the micro-switch. Does anyone have a diagram on how the throttle linkage is supposed to connect? Thanks

The throttle linkage from the peddle connects to a 2:1 bell crank below the potentiometer.

The pot and throttle linkage are both connected to the bell crank.

Do you have a pic or diagram? I think my linkage is assembled incorrectly
