Default 48 volt conversion ?

ive converted my 36volt series txt into 48 volt
new batteries,f and r cam, solenoid, 500 amp alltrax controller,
im waiting for the motor to come in from emp, but i was curious if i could run it with the stock motor untill the emp coms in..?, its an advanced motors 24v motor and i did buy the upgraded 2 g cables.
thanks
or will this damage the motor?

Your stock motor was a 36v motor, not a 24v one, and it will be fine on 48v.

Ok, well it may be running at 36 volts, but it says on the advanced dc motors tag 24 volt
this is a 2000 txt series 36 volt cart all stock,
well it was all stock

Question Re: 48 volt conversion ?

Well the tag does say 24 on it but it has a couple of 00 to so it's ?'able. But as stated it's in a 36 volt cart so it will handle 48 volts fine well it should handle it!

Yes your stock motor will like 48v. And you will like that EMP motor. I had one on a cart and it ran great. I had the switchable 2 speed motor but had it hard wired to speed mode. Never had a torque problem.
