Ez Go Motor Compatability
I have an 86 Ez Go Marathon cart that has been lifted and has big ol knobby tires. I would like to get more torque out of it, any suggestions?
Will any upgraded Ez Go motor work with this old cart? Thanks, Josh |

When you do decide to upgrade, go with a plum quick. Everyone seems to be happy with those motors. I will myself next time I have to send one in.

Just 1 More:
I have contacted Plum Quick but they haven't gotten back with me yet, how much does it cost to have them rewind a motor? Thanks, Josh |

Re: Ez Go Motor Compatability
Okay that's not too bad. Would I get better performance out of a rewound 2 hp motor or a different brand 12 hp motor?
I'm still not sure if the 12 hp is compatible, but it is a 19 spline made for Ez Gos so I would think so. The new motor would be about $200 more expensive than getting my old one rewound but it might be worth it. What do ya'll think? |

Re: Ez Go Motor Compatability
You will like it when the motor comes back, when they email or call you back describe what you have done to your cart and they can build it to match what you have done, and what you are looking for.
