Sportcoupe I just checked my 03 DS and 11MPH is top speed on flat concrete. It will pull like a tank but not go fast. Maybe you will have better luck on the speed than I do.

I have no doubt it'll go faster then 11 mph once I put the correct 8v batteries in it. I cannot believe that the owner was running 48v carts on 36v batteries till they died. He even was using a 48v charger too!

My 2003 DS Series will do 14.8 MPH, with my wife and I on it, on flat pavement, maxed out on a slight downhill at 27 MPH. Of course ran out of straight road, or may of gone faster.

Rics68 how much air are in your tires? I run 20 to 22 psi in mine.

I'm running 20psi right now. My battery pack is at 48.1 volts. If sportcoupes rigs runs faster I may have a problem with mine. I'm new to carts so I'm learning as much as I can.
