i can smell the charger and it smells like melting wires or plastic, i spoke with a service guy and he said it was the transformer, told me to replace the charger, i dont have any way of trying the charger on another cart or vice versa. any help would be nice?

if i replace the charger, do you recommnd any other than the power drive, my cart is basic, no upgrades "yet" i found some on amazon for cheaper $280.00, i live in middle ga in the sticks, closest dealer is 60+ miles and they want $389.00
