Re: New Club Car Owner - Upgrades planned and have some questions
Ok I'll definitely go with the Aux Battery Set up. I'll mount it in the dash with a fuse block. My question is how do you use the stock lighting harness but isolate it form the main battery pack? I searched but didn't come up with anything conclusive.

Re: New Club Car Owner - Upgrades planned and have some questions
it will require you to hook up "blue" wire to the 12v + of the battery .. if you watch video you will see the "blue" wire in the center cluster (min 8:20 of video) hook that to 12v battery
then you need to find the ground (black wire)in the wiring harness and hook it to the 12v- post |

Re: New Club Car Owner - Upgrades planned and have some questions
So in that diagram does the ground from the aux battery tie into the ground to the main pack? Or do i isolate the 2 different grounds?

no ... use the ground in the wire harness .. it may be to the main pack , but it does not matter the current is 12v

Re: New Club Car Owner - Upgrades planned and have some questions
I picked up a blue sea fuse block, 12v deep cycle wheel chair battery and some mounting goodies this morning. Going to wire her up with the lights today. Again thanks for all the help.
I'll post pics of the process so hopefully it will help someone in the future. |

Awesome, new speed sensor in today! Cart runs like a champ. Is there any way to tell which speed code is currently in the cart?
