Re: 36 v 48 volt
Is your CC a 48v?
It won't work if that's the case... |

Re: 36 v 48 volt
There are 2 reasons this won't work.
1st the 36v cut off voltage is too low for a proper 48v charge. The 36v charger stops at 46v and the 48v system should not be run down below 48v and has a max charge level of 63v. 2nd. All 48v CC carts have an on board charger which controls the charge system. They require special chargers made to be controlled by the OBC. While there may be a way around this problem, see problem #1 |

Re: 36 v 48 volt
I was afraid of that but it was worth a shot, albeit in the dark.I have been reading this PDF on my power drive 2 and have tested everything except the core itself so it's looking like I need another charger.Anyone have an extra hanging around for a reasonable price I'm in interest .Also ,I'm getting a reading of 51 volts on the pack but that should not tell the OBC not to charge ,will it ?I'm thinking it should at least come on and go off if fully charged .THANKS FOLKS FOR THE INPUT .

Re: 36 v 48 volt
Yes, it should come and run even if fully charged.
I guess you tried bypassing the start relay in the charger to see if the transformer still puts out? |
