If they are aftermarket lights, the fuse could be anywhere (each cart is different).
I would trace your wires to see how the lights are hooked up, they should have a reducer for them to drain the pack evenly. You should see a fuse on the positive and maybe negative wire too of the headlight harness.

Yes it's a 48 volt. Trojan batteries about 1 1/2 yrs old.Today I got the parts in the mail. Installed a new rectifier, circuit breaker and relay as per instructions and then when I plugged the charger in it hummed for a second , the ammeter went left and then it clicked off ..same problem as before. Does that mean the
transformer is bad? A friend has a 95 Club car with same connector for batt charger. will it work on my cart? How do I know it's 48 volt?
Any one got a good used golf cart for sale or trade? I have a good 2001 Club Car with questionable charger that is pissing me off. I am a golfer and need the cart for that weekly. I play next door at Imperial lakes golf course.

yes another charger will work. look at the sticker on the other charger, should say 48vdc output, or look at your friends battery's, should be pretty easy to tell the voltage.

it could be the transformer, but I would guess the OBC is bad on the cart, try and find another "known working" charger, plug into your cart, if it works the you know your charger still has problems, if not then then like already said, probly the OBC, "on board computer"

I borrowed neighbors 48 volt charger and it works on my cart. You are right when you say parts are different. U get what u pay for . Any how I guess I have a bad transformer in my charger. and they are expen$ive . Maybe that's a sign for a new cart. Thanks again for all your help .

A new transformer is about the cost of a new charger I think.
Maybe not a new cart, but a new charger?

sometimes that works out better ........ I had a small travel trailer and the low voltage board went out in it , talked the wife into fixing it with a new 5th wheel.
