i did i think.. i found a lestronic 2 charger but it has the wrong plug on it, is that changable?

If it has the 2 prong "crow foot" plug then it won't work.

You need a PowerDrive charger for this cart. Lestronic chargers have timers in them. PowerDrive chargers are controlled by the OBC on the cart. All 48 Volt Club Cars have an OBC.

You should be able to find one used for around $100. Post a wanted ad in the golf carts and parts section on here. You need a Powerdrive1.

Not necessarily. A PowerDrive, PowerDrive2, and PowerDrive3 all work the same way.

Yeah, you're right I forgot that all PD chargers are compatible.
So technically could you charge a '95 48v cart with a PD3 and a brand new 2013 Precedent with a PD1?
