Motor reversing options
Hello fellow cart enthusiasts, I have a resistor drive cart but, nearly complete on installation of a Curtis 1204 400 amp controller - thought I could get away with using same fwd/rev switch however, not sure now. Can anyone tell me if there's anyway to wire this up to allow motor reversal asis or do I need to go ahead and order the correct fwd/rev contact & get it over with?
Scouring the web has not produced any help as yet! Thanks for taking the time to look at my issue! Have a great day! Todd 85 CC V-glide |

Re: Motor reversing options
I am currently setting up my website with reversing contactor kits . The base 400amp kit will sell for $172. This includes the HD reversing contactor, the rocker switch, & the rocker switch housing, like you see on the Precedent models. You get the parts and complete wiring diagrams and instruction.
There will also be a Superduty switch for 500a and up carts, Typically these are designed for use with controller carts but I don't see why you couldn't use it with your current resistor coil system now and still use it if you did a solid state upgrade later. pics in a minute |
