Re: 48V 6:1 gears w/36V motor
First time Ive been on here in a long time, but Id say ya on the gear change as well. I ran Terrys 8:1 set out of his cart and they were a great boost in speed along with a Plum Quick motor, 2 gauge wires, 600A Altrax, and converted to 48v. Mine as well would run about 38-39 mph on flat ground and an easy 40+ on any kind of a downhill. I seen a max of 52mph in mine on a 5 miles trip to a buddys house, thiers a nice long down hill desent on the way, boy that felt fast on that sucker!
I didn't really notice any torque loss with 8:1 so na I wouldn't be scared to try the 6:1 at all, if I were you. Terry, your sig shows a drag cart, lol. I have to dig up and read about that, LOL. Ryan |

Probably go stock controller til it blew, then save up for an alltrax. I wouldn't really care about low end all that much, this would be more of a "go fast machine."
