Drive Time..... Stupidest Noob Question!
So as y'all know I am like 2 weeks into owning a cart and still learning A LOT. I thought the battery monitor thingie was bad because it only showed one segment (full). So I replaced it with an original brand new curtis unit. Hooked it up and same thing. I know it is connected correctly. Also I found out one segment at a time is the way it works...... Now for my question. I have driven the heck out of this cart for 2-3 hours straight and a bunch more throughout the day and the old monitor never moved. How long of a drive time should I be seeing if the monitor is working right? 48 volts full stock except for a upgraded 400 amp curtis controller. Batteries are about a year old or so (says the guy I bought it from)......???

First pay no attention to Mr. snorkel head.
Good luck, If I could make a suggestion, get a digital battery gauge from scottyb. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...art-3-a-4.html |

. . . if you are REALLY concerned about the pack voltage when driving cart, get rid of bar meter and install a digital meter . . .

Re: Drive Time..... Stupidest Noob Question!
Lots of you have said this. I am thinking of doing it. BUT with a 6 and 8 yr old the bar meter is more like a gas gauge and they know how to read and pay attention to that vs knowing what numbers to remember. ya know?
