Question Need Help, just installed new controller and solenoid

I just bought a new controller and solenoid from Scotty B. installed. Moved switch to run, turned on key...toggled into forward, pressed pedal nothing. The Alltrax 400 DCX is flashing 3 red lights.

This indicates: 3 red = HPD. Throttle has not returned to zero during this power up sequence. Is throttle stuck? how do I check this, what is my next step?

Does the DCX power up to a steady Green LED before you push throttle?
How many time does the LED flash Green before it stays steady Green? (4 flashes means it is programmed for an ITS throttle.)

I'm not 100% what triggers a HPD error, but it has to be associated with the pedal microswitch and the ITS, so check them out.

The voltage on Pin-5 (on top of DCX controller) ought to drop to zero when pedal is up.

The voltage between Pins 1 & 2 ought to be 10V with pedal up and 6V with pedal on floor.

You can un-check the HPD box in the Controller-Pro software to get it running, but HPD is a safety feature and should be on.

Johnnie is right on the money. Check your throttle signal.
Probe the molex connector with the test leads to read voltage from pin #1 to #2. You should see 10v with the pedal up and 6v with the pedal down.
