How is my cart tech making any profit?
My cart's batteries died and I replaced all 8 of them with Crown CR-275's which run about $170 to $180 a piece (based on what I have see online, that is). My cart tech (who also sold me the cart) not only picked it up but neutralized the battery compartment, switched out the batteries, replaced all the cables and is going to deliver the cart back to me this Friday.
How is this guy making any money because he is only charging $1,495 for everything? He is a Crown distributor so do they get a big discount on the batteries to make the profit? I am trying to figure out if I should tip him or not. Thanks. |
