Default Where to put 12v converter

Sorry, meant to say reducer. I have a 1996 EZGO TXT and I want to add lights to it. The problem is where to put the reducer and fuse block. I'm running on 42 volts so I have 7 6-volt batteries under the seat. One of them being in the open space under the driver where the horn sits. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I put mine on the wheel well. I didn’t see until afterwards that the directions said to mount it to metal. Instead of moving it, I just used some spacers to get it off of the right mastic a bit. It seems to work well and I’m running stereo, lights, etc. it’s never gotten hot.
