I checked for the label where you said but did not see one. Is there another location where it could be located?

You could look on the frame near the gas pedal for a sticker facing the driver's side. You can see it by looking in from under the driver's side, doesn't need to be jacked up.

For that year the info plate may still be in the passenger side glove box. Many got lost over time, so if you see a couple left over empty rivet holes the plate may be gone.
