Since all of the batteries are connected in Series, a single battery with a high internal resistance will prevent high current from flowing in the entire pack.
The battery internal resistance increases (and voltage drops) as it cannot deliver the current demand being placed on the battery, that is why I recommended You try lowering the maximum battery current the Controller will request from the batteries. You cannot change just a single battery if you are charging Your pack as a 48v unit, and even if you had a bank charger, the other batteries are not good enough to save. Time to start pricing new batteries.... |
