Default Installing new bushings

what are the best methods to properly install new bushings. I have a the complete control arm bushing set and have the front end completely taken down. Would you lube the bushings, use a vice to insert? does the pin go in after the bushing? Just looking for tips and trying to save myself some time.

Honestly I just did mine and just used a C-Clamp. Put both ends on with the pin in and turn the clamp until it bottomed out on the pin.

Yep, as stated above and lubricate them very good prior to installing them

Thanks. What lube do you prefer? I suppose you are suggesting a silicone lubricant?

A graphite lubricant is preferred and next a lithium, the silicone will work, but if they are rubber bushings containing silicone, it can bring down the rubber over time...
