Depends, Series or Regen? Check out this little write up here on my site and let me know what you've got and we'll point you in the right direction...

Re: Ds obc bypass
Yes, just be sure you correctly bypassed it so you have the correct connections, disabled the lockout and/or supplied the Neg which both are based on what style cart you have.

Yes there's plenty of info, but like we mentioned above, we need to know which drive system is on your cart to give you the correct procedure. Please identify and inform.

Re: Ds obc bypass
As Tahoe stated the details are everything. If it is a series you need to run the #10 Black lead from the back of the charge receptacle to the Main Pack Neg. You need to run the yellow wire that is on your solenoid over to the B- on the controller.

Re: Ds obc bypass
You need to make sure the place you bought it from has configured the charger for on-board use, if not, it will not charge correctly.
If you have the 650w version, you will not be able to use the charger lockout with your Series system without adding a relay. The bigger 1050w unit uses a different lockout circuit that could be used to disable the solenoid with the Series Controller. You can also remove the cart's charger receptacle and replace it with an AC power inlet, there are many options like the one below: https://www.amazon.com/NOCO-GCP1-125...dp/B009ANV81S/ |
