Default What’s this on top of the gearbox?

Was going to change the diff oil next weekend but while I was inspecting the dif I noticed this port that seems to have some sort of metal cap on it. I can spin the cap but haven’t pulled it off yet - will need to be pried off. Ideas?

Thanks.

It’s a Rhino motor - which is a torque monster. I live about 20 minutes from Plum Quick. I’m running 24” tires with alltrax 500a xct controller. It’ll do about 30 wide open with just the driver and I have it turned down some.

Forgot to mention. You do not need to remove the vent. You will have a drain and fill plugs on the gearbox.
That plug that can be seen in your picture on the side of the gearbox is the fill plug. The drain plug is located on the bottom.
Fill the gearbox from the fill plug until oil runs out of the fill plug hole and reinstall the plug.

My last cart had a Plum Quick motor that I loved. It was the blue one. Sooner or later I'll be upgrading my current cart with new motor and controller.
