Default Re: charge recepticle fuse blown

Fuses pop because of amperage or heat.
When the charger turns on how far up does the amp guage go? If it tops out the gauge and pegs way past the highest number, then it can be several different issues.
Heat would be because of a bad connection at the fuse receptacle, or poor connection between the pins of the receptacle and the charge plug.

The other reason would be due to a short in the charger cord. It could be pinched or chafed insulation on the wires in the cord. Disconnect one of the wires of the cord inside the charger (whichever is easiest to get to) and then clamp multimeter leads to the pins of the plug. Set the DMM to continuity and then wiggle the cord around. If it ever beeps then the cord has a short and needs to be replaced.
