Default Alltrax throttle settings

Several months ago my cart started to have all or nothing acceleration which **** near causes whiplash. I replaced the mcor in an attempt to fix the issue. It is almost impossible to feather the accelerator to get a soft start.

I have the software and have attempted to soften the start but haven’t had any luck. I don’t fully understand all the settings so maybe there is something I’m missing.

Any ideas for resolving this problem? I guess it’s possible that I got a bad mcor replacement.

A little more information about your cart would help. What is year, model, stock, upgraded, etc.? If you've changed the MCOR and it still does the same thing, then the MCOR is not the problem. You say you've attempted to soften the software, do you have an Alltrax? If so, posting pics of your settings may help.

Edit: My bad. I reread your thread title and you do have an Alltrax. Post pics of your settings.

By any chance is your Alltrax Controller a DCX model?

I thought I had my cart information in my signature. Sorry about that. It is a 2014 Precedent with an Alltrax XCT48500 and a 400 amp solenoid. When I get off my lazy ***, I will have to get pictures of my settings.

I am no expert but I’m pretty certain it’s the Alltrax. I built a cart Series cart with an Alltrax and sold it to my neighbor. It developed the all or nothing Go problem. Hit the pedal...nothing. Nothing. Nothing...bang you are going full speed. We felt like the Roadkill guys.

I read on here about the same issue and it was the throttle setting. We messed with the software and somehow fixed it. Pretty sure it was the throttle setting. What was weird is it was the next day it was fixed. Not sure but you may need to tun the key off then on to save settings on controller.

Anyway, we had the exact same symptoms and despite the MCOR being the most obvious, it was the controller settings.
