Pick-up a used 36 volt charger and convert cart to 36v. This will speed you up.

Well its not a cushman, Its an ezgo, But very similar. and it does not just lack speed, it has NO power, like wont haul any weight or go up even the slightest hills. It might be more like 5 or 6 mph, Not 8.

Ahh

Hook a volt meter to the battery pack and drive the cart. It may just be that the batteries are discharged. You can bring them up two at a time with a 12v automotive battery charger.

Well I let the charger charge them all night, And it was off in the morning, I plugged it back in to make sure it was charged and it read 20 AMPS again.. Then again when i got home today, it was off, but when I plugged it in it went to 20 amps!! It lasted for a 2 mile slooow joy ride though!

I will try hooking up the batteries (2 at a time) to a car charger.. and let ya know.

I have another question though.. Which one of these is the control unit? And what is the other one?

Large black box on the left is the controller, to the right is the solenoid.

Try hooking a volt meter to the main pos. and main neg. and drive the cart. I have a feeling that you may have battery issues also. How old are the batteries?
