Covert from 36v to 48V
I've found a Leastronic II 48v charger reasonably priced. I was thinking about adding 2 batteries to my modified 36v 95 Medalist/TXT cart making it a 48v cart. Are ther any pro or cons using this charger? Can I use the newer big style EZGO TXT charger plug?

I don't think there are any problems with that charger in a 48V system. You can always get a plug and change it, as long as it carries the same number of wires needed for the cart. Be sure your controller and solenoid are up to the 48V. Have fun.

Will an aftermarket White Rodgers 36v solenoid last for awhile? I've got 4 ga. wire, GE aftermarket motor, and a Ge 500-600 amp controller.

It may not last a minute or it might last a year?

Your Solonoid Will Work Fine, I Changed Mine To 48 2 Yrs Ago With Just The Stock 300 Controller And It Works Great, You Will Be Surprised At The Speed Gain. Just Switch The Cord From Your Old Charger To The 48. Kirk
