1977 3 Wheel EZ GO Wont Run

Hi I am a new member. Unreal amount of info available here, I am hoping someone can help or point me in the right direction. I just purchased a 1977 3 wheel ez go cart from its original owners, kind of a little creampuff but it wont run. Batteries are only a few years old and take a charge and hold at 34-36v, solenoid clicks but no power to the motor or movement. I am at a total loss of what to look at next, no power is reaching any point of the motor. There is power to the solenoid and continuity when the pedal is depressed. Any suggestions would help.
