No - all batteries are not equal. Trojans are the best. Welcome to the Forum |

thanks for the quick reply, this thing is pretty straight, paint is good looks like it was probably under cover.
Are these worth putting money into or should i look for another project? |

If all it takes are batteries, then I say it's worth it. Does it run at all now with the old batteries?

Re: anyone know how old this one is?
No batteries, the guy had it on a shop jack and it was hooked to a battery charger and it ran.
It has new tires, seat is good, the plastic rear bumper pieces need to be replace but I will probably put a little bed on it so I can probably make up some sheet metal that will cover them up. |

That'll be fun. You can't go wrong for $150. The parts are worth that and you could buy batteries and sell it for a GRAND or so. Or keep it. Have fun with it.

Re: anyone know how old this one is?
yep should be fun, just got back from dinner and have been thinking i can throw a few bucks in this thing and still will not be out much. Kind of looking forward to playing with it. I've built street rods, 4x4's, sand rails, baja bugs, you name it, never messed with a golf cart.
i have a 7 and 9 year old and they both want it running NOW!!!! Where is the best place to buy the Trojan batteries? I've seen service companies buying batteries from our local Costco and Sams clubs, if the better batteries are not an arm and a leg more i wouldn't mind buying the best. I live near palm springs california so i am in a mecca for carts and cart stuff, guess i will be on the phone monday morning. |
