Front in remodel on marathon?
Hey guys just got my first cart about a week ago, an elderly man i know gave me a 1980 eletric marathon with new batteries, cables and charger for 100 bucks and some cold beer ha. I have already been working on a few upgrades and other things. My question is has anyone ever cut the front end on these older model marathons and added the front rubber bumper like some of the newer model marathons? I would like to do this so i could add a brush guard/rack and being the way it is now i dont think it would look to good or even work for that matter. Im open to any suggestions some you might have. Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Front in remodel on marathon?
CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to BGW. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!! |

Re: Front in remodel on marathon?
I don't know that i have ever seen anyone do that but I do not know why it wouldn't work if the dimensions are the same.
As far as the brush guard there are not many if any aftermarket options. I have the newer model marathon and I pretty much have had to fab everything myself for it. |

Re: Front in remodel on marathon?
Yea I was going to fab one together just kinda wanted it to be more rounded like the newer marathons for looks with the brush guards.
