There is a big difference. A series motor has the same current through the rotor and stator (field) windings. A PDS and DCS motor is a sepex motor, where less current goes to the field windings.

Where did you get the motor? If it had the FNR shifter by your legs and no run/tow switch then it's a series motor.

im trying to use the stock motor thats currently on my melex it had the FNR shifter by my feet and a tow run switch on the DCS Module from the donor cart problem is the motor that was in the DCS cart will not bolt to my rear end i was hoping that the motor on my melex would work with the rest of the DCS stuff
