Re: 4 Wheel Disc Brakes - Any problems?
He sells the rear disc mechanical brakes, I am looking at the 4 wheel hydraulic disc brakes that members have installed. I heard there have been many problems but can not get a complete answer on the problems that have been had.

Did you do an advanced search on "hydraulic brakes"?
Don't limit the search to topic title. |

Re: 4 Wheel Disc Brakes - Any problems?
I installed them on my 2001.5 workhorse a couple of years ago and haven't had any problems at all with them.I love 'em and can tell you they are MUCH better than stock or any cable operated brakes on the market;I'm not trashing the cable operated rear disk kits because they're a very good value for the money & have greater stopping power than stock but if you want maximum stopping power and have the cash go for the 4 wheel hydraulics

Re: 4 Wheel Disc Brakes - Any problems?
A "Mighty-Vac" makes bleeding brakes MUCH easier. Generally, you open the bleeder, pump until the bubbles stop, then close it off. I use it on my bikes and it's worth every penny.
