They used to be real metal? Mine's just plastic.

It does hold the plastic "firewall" in place quite well, without the need for rivets, and I use wing-nuts to hold the badge in place, rather than the one time use push on type fasteners. I can just remove two wing-nuts and "easily" access the back of the dash.

how does the old one pop off?? I have a chrome plated one that came with the cart I hate the looks of..... It has BU on it.....

Assuming it's the same as my TXT, it has two "pins" that go through the body, and has two press on fasteners - don't know their name, but once you see them, you'll know how to remove them. Use a small screwdriver to pry them off.

Come to think of it, mine were on two dorky reflectors, not the badge, but that would be the logical cheap fastener to have been used.

What ever text fits.
some logos dont engrave that well so she has to clean them up and that could take hours.
