Battery Meter on 87 EZGO ?

purchased this

Amazon.com : 36 Volt Golf Cart Digital LED Battery State of Charge Indicator Meter : Golf Cart Accessories : Patio, Lawn & Garden

not showing all bars. Only the first one. Not sure of the problem. Wondering if someone could help me figure it out. Possibly how it is to be connected to be sure i didn't mess anything up? I spent $30 and I am frustrated that it isn't working!

Hi,
Your comment, "not showing all bars". Let me ask - you do know that only one bar shows at a time, right? For example, when the pack is fully charged, only the far right bar lights up. The others are dark. As the pack voltage drops, the LED's to the left will light, one at a time, as the one to the right goes out.

In other words, when the pack is fully charged, all the bars don't light up, only the far right bar.

Your making me second guess myself. Currently charging and i will keep and eye on it over the next couple days. I am pretty sure it only shows one bar though.

Just went out to check on charger and noticed the charger needle billing back and fourth. What the heck? Video link here

Not sure how long it we doing that but right now it is on 15 and not jumping around. Also not for nothing this usually shuts off at 10?
