Re: lookin for go fast parts
Yes, That is a series cart. But, basically you are not going to go fast cheap, not in a series cart especially.
The cart needs more power and ability to turn higher rpms. You can go to a speed motor but you will give up torque. You can go to higher voltage and turn your stock motor at higher rpms. What speed are you wanting to run? |

Re: lookin for go fast parts
if i went with a speed 24 mph motor and upgrade to a 400 amp controller would this bring my torque up more than it is now?
or will going to the speed motor kill my torque |

In a series cart you need to beef up the F&R switch and the 13 cables to handle the higher amperage output also. |

Re: lookin for go fast parts
i have the 4g cables already
could you or do you know anyone that will upgrade my stock controller? for cheap. I ordered a torque motor from emp, chuck said he could get me to 20mph and keep a good amount of torque... all with the stock controller... although upgrading it will only help if i wanted to do that how much is my stock controller at now? |

Re: lookin for go fast parts
i think you have a 275 amp one. camo has a listing just a few ahead of yours for a 400 amp curtis and hd solenoid at good prices. they should fit yours.
just a note, i run about 21 with just hd components, larger controller and two extra batts. stock motor. |
