Hey Woo, I've got your bumper ends if you want them. They are still attached to the Bumper, but the bumper is beat to crap. I'll PM you my address if you want to swing over some night to get it.

Re: Yamaha G9 Club - Everything G9!
Yes a moped would be correct. I got my engine out of my spare cart last night and started getting it in shape and ready for the clone. I plan on getting the clone engine this weekend. I thought about getting a G8 and putting a clone in it but after looking and seeing the fiber glass body and knowing how i roll i dont think it would hold up that well. The body is almost the same as the G1. Man i sure hope the G8 guys understand im busting there balls

Tommy -- You're making sense here -- and those G8-ers HATE it!
Had my first welding class last night -- I've welded before, and even took a welding class back in high school (1969, I think), but really do need a refresher as I haven't welded in much in about 15 years. The teacher is a very good welder - but a very poor teacher. I don't mind too much as I'm mostly there to use their equipment, but he does waste some time by telling us "welding stories"... he thinks he's interesting or something. |

Re: Yamaha G9 Club - Everything G9!
Its sad when a G9 on two wheels is better than a G8 on four.

Re: Yamaha G9 Club - Everything G9!
Not sad at all! What's sad is that G8 guys won't accept that fact.
I like welding too, but things have changed (mostly equipment) over the past 45 years that I really need a refresher. I used an automatic darkening helmet last night for the first time -- and I think I'm going to get one today! Man, those things are GREAT!! And I won't need separate lenses for gas, wire feed and stick welding! And the portable (hand held) band saw is handy -- but I don't think I can afford one right now. |
