Brake cable frozen on 94 Marathon
Any suggestions on a way to release a frozen driver side brake cable on a 1994 EZGO Marathon? The brake line will not move.

Re: Brake cable frozen on 94 Marathon
On my cables that are sticky I detach an end and make a little funnel around it with duct tape so that a lubricant can be fed into the sheathing. Have someone work the other side back and forth while the lubricant keeps getting shot in. It will free up.
l prefer a product called Kroil for lubing cables but that's just me. |

Removed the cables from either end and worked them back and forth until they started moving. They are still sticky, so hopefully the Kroil will help lubricate.
