Checked wiring all looks good no bad wires all connections are good and tight.

Could the f/r switch be bad on the inside? And what should I look for to check it?

Ok we did all the tests and nothing took the speed control off to inspect it and it is melted at the A1 terminal and there is a melted spot on the front down at the bottom and it smells like melted crayons... Going to go ahead and order a new one... Based on those findings.

Replaced the controller with new one and it is still beeping when not in tow maintenance
