2000 Ezgo Slows And Beeps
Hi all....newbie here. I have been reading the threads for a few days and have a question. I bought a used 2000 EZGO ELEC CART. Took it for a spin around the block and with the pedal to the floor it slowed down and continued to beep. After reading several thread I tried the PDS diagnostic test with key off and flipping from neutral to reverse 5 times. On the sixth time I got 3 beeps pause 1 beep. Need to know what that means. Thanks

Solenoid driver failure.
Check wiring for damage. Might be a bad controller. |

Re: 2000 Ezgo Slows And Beeps
Thank you for the reply. The dealer delivered the gc late Tuesday. I tried to drive it around the block and it started messing up. I called the dealer Wednesday and was told the batteries needed charging. I hooked up the charger and tried it again today. I called the dealer after I got the 3-1 code. He is suppose to check and call me back tomorrow. Is there anything else I should be concerned about?
This is a great forum. |

If your cart has a toggle switch on the controller cover under the passenger seat it is a Sepex cart and has a strict rule regarding that switch.

3-1 is not batteries. FYI - If the dealer is going to warranty it for you, I suggest you leave it alone until they come to take a look.

Thanks GORNOMAN
The dealer I bought the cart from is gonna check it out today. Just worried that other things could be wrong with it since it started messing up the first time I drove around my neighborhood. |

There should be a sticker on the controller cover that explains the codes.
