Default Series cart towing

If you have a series cart (no run tow switch), if you ever had to tow it...is there anything you have to do as to not damage anything?

I understand on sepex cart to tow it...flip switch to tow with key turned off...and I guess go real slow.

What about a series cart?

place the F/R switch in Neutral....and disconnect the battery, not sure that is required, but it certainly won't hurt (either + or -)....tow it slow....no faster than the cart would normally run.

Remember this concept when towing the golf cart: the electric power motor becomes a massive generator when it is spun on its own. This current travels down the pipes (battery cables) to a destination. When you unhook the main battery cable connection and place the shifters in neutral you prevent this current from damaging the electronics of the golf cart.

The important thing is that your motor is isolated. This is what happens when the F/R switch is in Neutral.
