Resister
My solenoid stopped clicking.tested bad, how do you test the resister? Thanks for your help, it is much needed!

The resistor is tested with the ohm Ω meter function the reading across the resistor should be fairly close to the value printed on it or 250-270 for 36 volts and 470 for 48v carts.

Solenoid came and has plastic on mounting bracket, does it have to ground on cart?1995 ezgo. Old solenoid has medal bracket. It is 36 volts? thanks again

Plastic is OK. Nothing should be grounded to the frame.
