Dirtpit they were never welded, just tacked in place, it missed the welding process, and quality control didn't catch it.

You can get a 110 volt stick welder for under $100. I have one that does pretty good for small stuff. I've made battery trays and small fixes like you have there.

I have one of the cheap HF Flux core Mig welders. It actually does very well on small stuff. That size material is its bread and butter.

I had it for a year or two before I got serious and taught myself. I blamed ot on the welder. But in all seriousness it was me. I watched some you tube vids. I was going WAY to fast. And the HF wire Is junk. Get some from lowes or somewhere else. It still is messy from the splatter from the Flux core but I can weld pretty good. It's the one thats on sale for like $99 if you had it you could burn it back togeather. And yep I'd do it for free for ya.

Yeah not real far. I asked if I could pick up the replacements so I would know I had them. Steeleng said they would send fedex. just worried . Really wanna use my cart at the beach. 1st time I had my own cart. We usually rent.

They state that they are a manufacturer out of South Carolina well I guess you get what you pay for..
