2003 DS battery hold rods

I just installed 6 Pro Series batteries today, and only one of the hold down rods is long enough to put the plastic plate on. The rods are all same length! All the rest come just to the top of batteries! Do they make longer ones?

I bought these Length shown. Fit my 2000 DS 48v (8 Volt batteries) with plenty of thread to spare.

Give us some info on these "Pro Series" batteries. What brand are they and their amp/hr rating? We are all looking for more reserve capacity in the pack assuming they are golf cart batteries. How much taller are they from what you had?

The batteries are XLD Pro Series golf cart batteries. I called place where I bought them, they said they are same size/height as the Trojans that I had. I will look at the rod situation tomorrow. I consider myself very handy, so I don't think I'm missing anything here!
