Still No Reverse

I recently had to replace the F/R switch on my ‘97 CC DS Series cart. A blunder on my part caused me to wire it incorrectly and the folks here were kind enough to help me figure that part out. Everything has been wired correctly now, and checked, double checked , and triple checked multiple times. However, the cart still will not go in reverse.

For S & Gs I decided to check my controller. While in forward I hooked up a dvm from negative battery pack to M- on the controller. I had pack voltage with the accelerator up and going to 0 when fully depressed. But when I put the cart in reverse I show no voltage with the accelerator in either position.

Right now I am totally at a loss as to what I have done wrong or where to look for what is wrong.

Is the solenoid clicking in F&R?

Reverse buzzer is on. Solenoid clicks on.

Swap the Blue and the Orange at S1 & S2 and see if you have reverse when you select Fwd and and still get nothing when you select Rev.

Was it an aftermarket F/R switch? were all the Micros all replaced too?

When I swap blue and orange I have reverse. Voltage from pack to controller starts at pack voltage and gradually lowers as the accelerator is pushed.

Then you have proven the motor is good and it is the contacts in the switch - either they are not making up the micro-switch when you select reverse or you have bad contacts in the FNR. Check the micro-switches on the back of the switch and see if they are being made up when you select reverse.

MS1- Solenoid Activation Circuit (Key On; Direction selected; Pedal depressed)
MS2- Reverse buzzer activation
MS3- For half-speed reverse (resistor)

MS 1 and 2 have continuity when the rocker arm is depressed (closed) MS 3 shows cont. from green to black when closed and from green to white when open.
